Henry Grey
Quote He half expected Lord Grey to come barreling up yelling ‘How dare you impugn the honor of my cousin Sir by brazenly displaying your cuff so!’ He had even more lavish ornamentation on his waistcoat but he daren’t call attention to it for the result might necessitate a duel between Lord Grey and himself. LOL!!!!!!!! Henry would likely challenge you to a "duel" of solving mathematical problems than to an actual duel. He would shoot himself if he aimed at someone else! Douglas FitzJames
CB is, as always, delightful to read. Quote In her thoughts said aloud in the concern for this girl whom she imagined to be a country lass unaccustomed to the ways of London let alone Court she may had trapped herself unknowingly in a rolé she looked for in others. As is Lady Lucas. Alas for innocent young girls, they do bring out the protective instincts. I'll admit, I am looking forward to Eleanor meeting Cordelia. Douglas FitzJames
Quote Poor Eleanor would have to wait for another time to learn if Charles had gotten his enormous woodcock. Ah CB, the master of dead-pan.

Charles Whitehurst
I have to give my admiration to the thread "A Lady's Call" with Darlene and CB. For entertainment, comedy, and plot development, this thread has been the best at forcing you to laugh no matter how hard to try to resist. There have been many, many strong, entertaining posts so far this season. I think this season might be one of the most entertaining seasons ever. Henry Grey
Seconded. That CB believes he was clear, while Darlene understood a totally different thing, has been a joy to read.

Louis Killington
Just want to tip the cap to Charles Audley who writes remarkable posts when he feels unholy fury. First it was the tiger duel and his thoughts about poor Douglas, and now his reaction to the fortune teller's vision. In response to such a great post, the Earl of Northampton must feel a tremor in the Force.

Duncan Melville
Lord Mountjoy’s idea about Wimbledon palace accomplishes two things: saving the Crown some coin, and shafting Danby. Shaftesbury would approve of both, I think.

Charles Blount
. Quote The way the Marquess blinked repeatedly, it appeared that he was in need of a handkerchief possibly. Douglas FitzJames
Quote “You have my word, Dundarg. Is there need to dispose of a body?” The Viscount asked seriously. I love how Duncan's first question is whether Douglas needs help getting rid of a body. Now there's a friend you can trust.
