Aria Posted August 30 Share Posted August 30 I will be having knee replacement surgery on September 10 (yes, I’m that old- lol). At my appointment yesterday, I was told that there’s no reason I can’t sit in front of my computer and type, so hopefully I will be back to posting in a week or two, depending on how the pain and medication affect me. I’m also not certain how often I will be able to post before my surgery. There are a lot of things I need to do, but I will post as much as I can. Aria Posted September 13 Share Posted September 13 Sorry for taking three days to post an update, but I had to wait until the keys on my keyboard quit doing the funky chicken dance – lol. My surgery was a success. I was told I would need either a partial or total knee replacement and it turned out to be a partial. I went home the next day and can walk better than I had expected so soon. The pain meds make me feel weird and all I want to do is sleep, but I already ditched the morphine so that shouldn’t last much longer. Every day is better, but I am still not sure when I will be able to return to posting. Hopefully, it won’t be too long. Thanks for all the good wishes.
