“Son of Cordelia Lucas?” John offered, seeing if that would help. "The Lucas Baronet?"

The manuals John had basically agreed a catapult could be constructed in a few hours by a skilled team. And the structure itself was going to be little more than decorated walls, with a step along the interior and an opening. It was the sort of thing that could, in ideal circumstances, take a day.

John thought it would take longer than that. But John doubted either would take more than the five days he'd allotted. He actually expected it to be done a great deal sooner. But if it did, he would find it a fascinating inquiry. He could imagine writing something and sending it up to Oxford on his new perspective on old siege weaponry and forts. The difference between what was written and the reality...

John nodded to the negative. Perhaps he would put it in his castle. It was something to ponder.

"Goodnight." John said with a small smile. He turned to leave, a very short walk home... though he had one more matter to take care of before his day was out.

OOC: Yes, thank you!
