Henry Grey
The note was written on white, heavy, rag card, using purple-black oak gall ink, and sealed with Henry Grey's signet on gray wax. Your Grace, Please forgive me for not having been in contact. The residence at Codnor Castle caught fire earlier in the year, and I had to see to the damage and reconstruction. I have now returned to court, and would like to pay my respects at your convenience. I can be reached at a town house I rented in Windsor town for the season. Your humble and obedient servant, Henry, Lord Grey The note was hand-delivered by a liveried servant on Saturday, early afternoon, along a bottle of Armagnac eau-de-vie from the town of Marciac. Duke of Buckingham
Quote I am sorry for your troubles Lord Grey and pleased by your return to court. I shall be in much of the afternoon on Sunday if you wish to come by. I have also heard of your instruments being placed on the battlements if you would prefer to meet after midnight. It is of an hour I more appreciate than mornings. Buckingham

Your Grace, The battlements after midnight sound like a place and time where we can chat without others interrupting. That way you will be the first non-royal to see my instruments and look at the stars through them, if you so wish. Your humble and obedient servant, Lord Moon The note was hand-delivered by a liveried servant on Sunday afternoon.
