This time it will be a family alliance. 1.1 Perhaps meet Hamilton's daughter at her court debut next season? 1.2 Met Lady Frances Cavendish. Budding friendship. A strong possibility. 2. Form the Royal Artillery Corps. 2.1 Meet with Prince Rupert and Lord Gerard to ask what they think. 3. Serve the King and Buckingham (in that order). 3.1 Help Lord Kingston find his slanderers. 4. Get a political post. Lord of Trade, Member of Parliament, or some such. 4.1 Member of Parliament seems to be best. 5.
