With no note, and having been delivered by an unliveried servant, the gifter could be many. For on inspection it was a tapestry with a rousing hunting scene, dominated by dogs. Dogs that on close inspection seemed all female. Close inspection would also reveal a good amount of fine craftsmanship with gold and silver threading.
