Auction to be Held August 19th

Recommended Posts

Widow Lucinda Wyatt has been pronounced dead, having been asleep for one month after her pledge to enter the spirit world. A keen follower of the occult, some called her a witch. She had claimed the ability to travel to the spirit world and back. Yet, when she attempted to demonstrate the ability she fell into a profound trance and sleep, unable to wake. Taking no food and water, she was declared dead and laid to rest in an ornate crypt she had purchased for herself.

Her sole benefactor was her longtime servant, Agnes Hewitt. Miss Hewitt has ordered all belongings of the widow Wyatt be sold at public auction, including some unusual pieces of jewelry.

The auction shall be held at her house -- 13 Picadilly Square at noon on Wednesday August 18.

Though originally scheduled for the 18th, a last minute legal wrinkle has caused the date of the auction to be pushed back one day to Thursday August 19th.
