One of the truest ways was to share it with one you loved while making love. That was more than sufficient for the two that found themselves in the pursuit of happiness in the Biblical way. And so it was that Charles forgot about the worry that lingered over him that day -- of Catherine Sedley and his unborn child. There would come another time to discuss it with Darlene, most likely in a setting less suited to such a revelation.
